The DOVO tensioning screw strop is the classic strop for honing your straight razors. Using the tensioning mechanism , you adjust the leather surface for optimal positioning and gently guide the blade across the oiled leather. This aligns the fine burr before shaving – for an even, close, and comfortable wet shave.

Technical data:

Application:

1. Tighten the mechanism until the leather surface is slightly taut.
2. Place the knife flat (back and edge on the leather) and guide it towards the back .
3. Turn over at the end (never over the edge). Several smooth strokes on each side.
4. If necessary, apply a very thin layer of grease to the leather; store in a dry place.
